Technology Has Exploded – Have Your Will / Trust Documents Kept Up?
Have your recorded all of your on-line banking and credit card account information for your Personal Representative (aka Executor) to close upon your death? How about your social security and pension direct-deposit IDs and passwords. Did you remember your online utility bills, grocery delivery services, insurance policies, and medical information accounts? Which cloud service are you using to store your photos? What kind of streaming services are you using? Netflix? Hulu? ESPN? Do you have a presence on Facebook, Twitter, or TikTok?
Additionally, does your family have the names and contact info for your nearby friends and neighbors – you know – the ones who are going to let your dog out and feed your cat until they arrive? Come and learn about the Computer Club’s newest creation – the Orange Playbook. It is your list of local people for your out-of-town family to contact, as well as a comprehensive TO-DO list that emphasizes keeping your cell phone safe! Two-part verification will be of paramount importance to your Personal Representative as he or she attempts to erase your identity from the web and those evil scammers trying to get it!
